Made re-caulking the shower easy!
This kit was a godsend, as it was my first time attempting to re-caulk a shower. The end results looked pretty professional! The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it would’ve been nice to have instructions on how to use each piece.

This is a good single-use tool and is worth the money. The scraper worked like a charm to remove old silicone and caulking. The spreader, on the other hand, is only as good as the person that’s doing the spreading.

Loved for bathroom caulk removal and application
I personally loved this multifunctional tool. It easily scrapped the old caulk off and it came with so many variations of sizes/ angles which was the best part. The handle conveniently slides to change from scraper to silicon. I would recommend it.

Impressed
Over the years I done my share of caulking sinks/tubs and I’ve got a box of tools for the job somewhere. As I Was checking out ,this was a suggestion. Seemed easier to buy these than find that box. When showtime came, I kept my expectations low, but the silicone trowel and scraper worked very well. I was impressed…definitely recommend.

Decent Caulk Removal Tool
Removing caulk is difficult so I was excited to see that someone has developed a better tool to cut and remove old caulk. It comes with a cutter, scraper and a number of angled tools to put a good caulk line on when you replace the old caulk. I would have given it 5 stars except that the cutting and removing point is not very strong and will likely not be strong enough to remove tough areas and will dull soon too. However given that is was $20 and it helps in the rather tedious job I think a 4 star is appropriate. I would purchase again.

I don’t know how I did without this all these years!
This was a great “investment!” (I put the word in quotes because the price is so low.) There are numerous profiles for caulking, both concave and mitered, and at various sizes. I was caulking multiple corners/surfaces in a bathroom, and having a choice of sizes was really helpful. When you push the guides tightly against the walls, they are great at skimming off excess silicone. I had many irregularities where the tile met the tub, and this guide worked like a champ. AND—The caulk removal tool works amazingly well. It’s a simple thing, but really helpful. I think that the next time I need to re-caulk a bathroom I will no longer dread the effort! If you plan to caulk anything, don’t think twice about spending the money for this kit.

It removes caulk, and can spread it too!
The little ‘fishtail’ goes down to let it click into place so you can spread new caulk too…that took me longer to realize than I’d like to admit. It probably said that on the box, I should have read it. :-Oh well. But, the scraper portion has done its job too so far. I have super-old caulk. Some is stone-hard, and some of it is just ‘crunchy and stiff’. This can’t (so far, with my level of force at least) get all the rock-hard stuff off, some of it I need to ‘pop free’ with a carefully-placed chisel-tip so I can ‘snap it free’. For what it CAN remove, it does a pretty nice job of it. For a tool made mostly of plastic, it’s way more rugged than I’d have expected it to be. It’s still alive, and I’ve used it for a few months now.

Little, but really helpful for caulking
Bought this too to caulk my renewed base board and it was very helpful to scrap the old caulking on the dry wall. The silicon end was smooth and came out well. There were several sizes provided along with the package, which I have not used. I just used one for my job. This small tool is a good to have on your tool bag.

The remover part is metal and can scratch if not careful. Otherwise it makes removing old caulk easier. The smoothing side takes practice. I do wish it was taller to reach behind tight spots like the faucet.

Good tool for the home handyman
This is a good multipurpose tool for someone who is doing some caulking around the house. It was just what I needed for repair work that I was doing around my shower. Someone who was doing this kind of work regularly should opt for a set of more substantial tools, each one designed for a particular task. For what I needed, this all-in-one tool was ideal.

Thank you
First off I would give it a 9 if I could if the stars went that high. I had one of the older all plastic styles and it just didn’t do the job. This new style with the stainless steel tips worked great. Having Arthritis in my hands and fingers, this new tool made my job so much easier and faster. I also love the 5 interchangeable rounded sylicone guides for the other end of the tool. There is other sylicone caulking guide but I haven’t tried them yet. I would definently recommend this tool to any one removing old caulking or installing new caulking.

This product got one use out of it before the blade was dulled and dinged up beyond use. the stainless steel scraper worked well enough for removing silicone/caulk. its a decent tool except for cleaning scraper chips real easy and could be made out of stronger platic or have a stainless steel head also. the worse part is the trowel slides forward when using the scraper so i just unscrewed the screws and took it off.

Excellent Value
I tried some of the other tools you can get at home depot and they were messy and not effective. When I used this tool the caulking came off like I had promised it desert for doing so.I was able to easily clean up the bits of mess that were left from the previous attempt even.Heck, I used the applicator backwards when applying the new caulking and it still worked great. This tool shaved off an hour of work from my previous attempts. Couldn’t be happier. The only downfall is that if you are not careful you CAN hurt your hand on the metal bits. Be sure to be mindful of where your hand is in relation to the blades at all times.

I love the caulk remover side of it but I ended up using my finger instead of the tool to apply the caulk. The tool seemed bulky and awkward and it didn’t work well on textured walls. I would buy it for the caulk remover side though. That’s worth it all.

The silicone pads are the star of this show.
Like everyone else, I HATE caulking. It is an art form that I’ll never master and it never fails to look like a 3-year-old with finger paint. The changeable silicone shaper dealies are the star here, and really helped to make it look passable. No matter how bad or globby it got, a couple of passes with one of those and it looked decent. Just have a bunch of paper towels handy. As far as the remover part goes, it kind of worked but I still needed a razor blade. There were spots where it would strip off 5 or 6 inches at once, so that was helpful. The caulk was probably 40 years old, and that probably didn’t help much.It made a miserable job a little less miserable. Good luck.

Smoothes caulking easily
It seems like every time I caulked in the past, it never quite got smooth. The multi point tool is tremendous and allows you to easily smooth the joint. It works like a squeegee in getting off extra caulking from unintended places. I didn’t even need to tape…it came out much better than when previously taped, since the tape left a line/joint. This was perfectly smooth. It was so easy I did 3 places in the house already!I don’t know what the blue pieces are for as there are no instructions.Great kit and reasonably priced!

Good tools worth having if you have a DIY project
These tools are good to have and I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I don’t feel like the scraper worked as well as it should. It doesn’t work too well around circular edges (sink) and sides (up and down) works great if it’s a horizontal project. I thought the different heads provided were ideal for smoothing caulk, for any angle.

Silicone fillet tools work great!
The end of the tool that is for removal of existing silicone caulk works but only if the caulk fillets are large. Did the job and helped it look pretty
It’s a pretty complete kit for doing caulking jobs. I used the scraper on 2 bathtubs and a sink so far and it’s holding up and helping me make it look pretty. Good value for the money. My tubs look better than they did before.

Great caulk remover; okay caulking tool.
I love the caulk remover side of it but I ended up using my finger instead of the tool to apply the caulk. The tool seemed bulky and awkward and it didn’t work well on textured walls. I would buy it for the caulk remover side though. That’s worth it all.

Nice metal removal blade for the cost
Overall I like this caulk tool set. My only real complaint is that there is a piece that slides over another (so you can change tools) but there should be a locking mechanism to hold it in place. Too often it would slide up when I wasn’t trying to use that part. However, I really like the metal blade. The tool I had before (that this replaced) was plastic and broke easily. This removal tool made everything SO much easier.

Amazing
I have done bathroom caulking before with a flat head screwdriver and cleaning supplies and I remember it took forever and told myself I’d never do again. But, our new house needed the caulking done so I bought this tool and OMG! It was amazing and only had to use this one tool. Made the project much faster and way easier. I would recommend over and over again.

Too many pieces for caulking alone, but helpful mostly
This came with lots of tools to help me re-caulk the edge of my shower, which is great. However, I didn’t need all of these and pretty much no one else will either. The dual ended tool to strip the old caulking away was the most useful – but my advice would be to buy a better one and only that one. Overall, yes this was OK but mostly useless for simple caulking at home. The stripping tool bent very easily and chipped my tile too, so be careful or buy a more substantial one.

This kit was a godsend, as it was my first time attempting to re-caulk a shower. The end results looked pretty professional! The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it would’ve been nice to have instructions on how to use each piece.

I was pleasantly surprised at the ease the cut thru grout. Made sharp straight lines and the applicator side was just as effective. I would absolutely recommend this product and was at a great price point for your average everyday DIYer.

Worked great on my door recaulking. Simple to use and the results were perfect.

This is a good single-use tool and is worth the money. The scraper worked like a charm to remove old silicone and caulking. The spreader, on the other hand, is only as good as the person that’s doing the spreading.

Muy practico y fácil para aplicar el silicon deja todo muy limpio.

I personally loved this multifunctional tool. It easily scrapped the old caulk off and it came with so many variations of sizes/ angles which was the best part. The handle conveniently slides to change from scraper to silicon. I would recommend it.

Thoughtful design. Makes getting old caulking out a breeze, and the little blue plastic tools guide the new caulking beads in nicely.

It actually worked. I’m honestly shocked. This is not the first tool of this type that I have purchased and they’ve all been jokes. This one actually worked and my my caulking job easier and with little clean up.

I thought it would be worth it, but it made a bigger mess than me using my finger. Don’t waste your money.

Bought this too to caulk my renewed base board and it was very helpful to scrap the old caulking on the dry wall. The silicon end was smooth and came out well. There were several sizes provided along with the package, which I have not used. I just used one for my job. This small tool is a good to have on your tool bag.

Mr. Fixit –

I only used it on my kitchen counter tops… It did work great briefly.I suggest finding a tool made a little more sturdy. the stainless steel scraper worked well enough for removing silicone/caulk. its a decent tool except for cleaning scraper chips real easy and could be made out of stronger platic or have a stainless steel head also. the worse part is the trowel slides forward when using the scraper so i just unscrewed the screws and took it off.

When I first held this thing it seemed like a cheap plastic tool that would have a limited life. I figured I would end up finishing the job with the paint scraper. But NO! Good luck.

This product worked great for my shower project. It was a tough job since previous owners layered caulking over the years vs. removing/replacing. I’d recommend for sure.

The end of the tool that is for removal of existing silicone caulk works but only if the caulk fillets are large. Overall I like this caulk tool set. My only real complaint is that there is a piece that slides over another (so you can change tools) but there should be a locking mechanism to hold it in place.
